Non-Beswick Horses and Ponies (click on each one to see photo)

  Whilst the above are not by Beswick, it is believed that it is possibly that they are the models on which the Beswick models, 868, 939 and 982 were based. We understand that in1938 a representative of Beswick's visited the German firm and brought certain of their equine models back to England. Subsequently in 1940 Beswick produced their first horse and rider models, where the horses bear a remarkable likeness to those of the German firm.
